CAN THE RAIN MAKE YOU FEEL DEPRESSED?


 During rainy or dark seasons, many people find the dreary days to be challenging to navigate. We can find that gloomy, cold, and dark weather can affect us on the inside. This is less common in sunny areas that have occasional rain and more common in climates with long periods of poor weather.

"Seasonal Affective Disorder" is a mood disorder (similar to depression) that shows signs of sadness, hopelessness, low energy, low motivation and this is only to name a few.

Many people may delay seeing a professional due to these "rainy day blues." But, this is a true mental health concern that should not be ignored. Reach out to your therapist or doctor for support, knowing that this is a REAL mental health issue that can respond to treatment.
