Therapy is not the place for dieting tips. But therapy is the right place for support, understanding, and accountability. If you embark on a new fitness program or want to place focus on yourself, be sure to include your therapist. Therapy is a source of motivation as well as self reflection.
Anytime you plan a move toward your overall health, your therapist can be an amazing resource. Your therapist should not judge, should not lecture, but rather find your goals and support them.
