Future Planning is not about saving for retirement, but rather the concept that we should all spend some time determining what we want our life to look like. For some individuals future planning may be a discussion around partners, children, or family. For some the future planning may be about further education, applying for the first job, or pivoting a career where there is unhappiness. Many individuals who are making the attempt to conduct Future Planning would benefit from using therapy time for this decision.
