Consider a Weekend Intensive Session

After years as a therapist, I have learned that the format of traditional therapy is not always the most effective. As I primarily work with adult survivors of trauma, the first hour long session is compact, and requires me to explain the logistics of therapy, understand the background of my client, make a diagnosis for their mental health symptoms, create therapy goals, and to also make a plan for our next sessions.

Can I do this in an hour? Yes. 

Can I do this more effectively with more time? Yes. Absolutely. 

This is ultimately common sense. Let's move past out-dated models of therapy that are more in alignment with your insurance company than your own well-being. 

The next question is common as well. Will my insurance pay for an Intensive Session? Most of the time, your insurance plan will cover the first 1 hour of the Intensive Session. Plan to pay out of pocket for additional hours, but know that the impact on your mental health is often worth the price of admission.

Why weekends? Because I can allow for more time on my calendar and yours. Let's do this without a rush, without carpool or deadlines. Let's actually place all of the focus on YOU.
